A Royal Worcester demi tasse cup and saucer, hand painted by James Stinton. The cup, painted with pheasants to the front and a representation of a tree to the reverse, has a gilt painted interior, handle and rims. The saucer painted with pheasants and with a gilt ‘well’ and rim. Both cup and saucer bear James Stinton’s signature and have makers and date marks to the bases.
Dated 1929
Condition: No cracks or restoration, but both pieces are crazed (please see images).
