These uncommonly shaped vases have six ‘panelled’ sides which rise from the base to a rounded shouldered top. On each vase, three panels are decorated with a white geometric design on a gold ground and three are wonderfully decorated with flowers, grasses, fruiting berries and foliage. The panels are separated by gold ‘ribboning’ with minute raised gilt ‘jewels’. On one vase the panels bend to the left as it descends to the base on the other the bend is to the right – thus forming an opposing pair. Originally covers would have rested on top of each vase, now sadly missing.

Condition: In good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. The decoration is crisp and clear. Some expected rubbing to the top of each vase where the covers would once have rested.
