Circa 1897-1900
This uncommon shape vase from James Hadley has a globular body with a neck rising though a ring design (knop) to a slightly flared cup like top. The body is divided in to four decorative panels by dark blue clays. Each panel contains flowerheads or foliage in sepia tones. Gilt highlights enhance the rim, base and knop.
