Circa 1880
An Aesthetic Movement terracotta Moon Flask Vase is of a flattened shape with lobed base/foot and neck, with twin handles connecting the neck to the body. Although unmarked it is attributed to designers William Coleman and Christopher Dresser working for Minton. Decorated on one side with a bird in flight over a dog rose with a gilt moon behind. A bird on a twig decoration to the reverse.
