Decorated in their ‘Persian’ style this Royal Worcester vase has handles with decorative swirls and pointed tops. The collar surrounding the base of the neck is decorated with cut outs reminiscent of the onion domes of mosques. The handles, collar, neck and base are decorated in a turquoise ground, whilst the body and other parts are a white ground. Gilt highlights throughout. The stunning panel decorated in a sky-blue ground with exotic birds on a branch depicted in gilt. The panel is surrounded by turquoise ‘jewels’ linked in a chain with gilt ‘dots’. Further gilt decoration to the reverse.

Condition: In excellent condition with no damage or restoration. No obvious rubbing to the gilding and the gilt panel remains particularly vibrant.
