This small vase standing upon four splayed feet, is beautifully decorated with hand painted daffodils. The shape of the vase is one created by Hadley of Worcester and the mould continued to be used by Royal Worcester once they took over Hadley’s in about 1905. Unusually the mark on the base of this piece contains both the Royal Worcester backstamp and ‘Hadley Worcester’ together with Hadley’s marks indicating the shape number and codes for the coloured glazes to be used.

Dated 1905

Condition: No cracks or chips, the glazes are vibrant and unmarked. Professional restoration to one foot where it attaches to the body, which can only be seen clearly with a lens.
