Dated c1850
An interesting and very unusual Dale Hall Pottery jug with a pewter lid and relief moulded decoration on an unusual pink ground. This rare piece is in excellent condition with clear backstamp marks to the base – registration lozenge dating the design to 19th December 1850. Discolouration to the base shows what appears in the pictures as a hairline crack but this does not go through to the inside of the piece. A remarkable jug that is some 170 years old.
