Royal Worcester Cabinet Plate by Harry Davis

A Royal Worcester cabinet plate expertly hand painted with fishes to the centre by renowned artist Harry Davis – whose signature appears in the decoration. A gadrooned border highlighted with ‘jewels’ and gilt lines adds to the decorative effect of the charming plate. This plate was retailed by Osler of Oxford Street, London whose retail mark can be seen on the underside. With two premises in Oxford Street, London, Osler were Glass and China retailers whose customers included Queen Victoria.

Dated c1901 - the date is difficult to ascertain as the marks are obscured by the mark of the retailer Osler

Condition: In excellent condition with no damages, repairs or restoration.
