Dated 1894
Four oval ‘cushion’ type panels divide the body of this small bottle vase. Each panel is decorated with hand painted flower posies which include sunflowers, ferns and poppies, all on a blush ivory ground. Gilt highlights surround each ‘cushion’ and embellish each dividing section, rim and base. There is some wear to the gilding especially around the neck rim commensurate with age and use.
