A twin handled soup cup decorated in a green ground with an etched gilt band around the rim and with gilded handles and base rim. The inner centre decoration depicts a lady ‘pig sticking’ hand painted by Harry Davis. The central decoration is surrounded by a further etched gilt band. This soup cup was made as part of a service for Maharajah of Baroda Pratap Singh Gaekwad (1908-1968).

Condition: No cracks, hairlines or repairs. Minor rubbing to the gilding. A small black kiln frit is apparent in the centre decoration. Some minor scratches/marks in the green glaze.
