This ceramic medal is marked ''Manufacture Nationale Sevres'' and is based on a bronze version by Ferdinand Levillain (1837-1905), medallist and sculptor, gold medal winner at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1878. Presented in a leather bound clip fastening case.

Condition: The medal is in lovely condition with no damage or restoration. The leather bound case is rubbed from handling and age and the gilded lettering on the lid has faded
