Circa 1912
This slip cast gourd shaped vase was designed by Francis Pope, a notable Doulton designer, for reproduction by assistant artists to meet the growing demand for Doulton Wares in the early 1900’s. This particular vase dates around 1912 and is decorated in a mottled green/brown slip and in excellent condition.
