Circa 1910
Decorated by renowned Doulton artist George Tinworth assisted by Bessie Newberry, this superb vase is typically covered in beaded swirls, rosettes and other stylised foliage on a beige ground covered in ‘trellis work’, the stylised foliage a rich blue and the base and neck a rich brown glaze. Typical with his work Tinworth’s monogram appears within the decoration.
