A large upright jug with stylised leaves surmounting the rim at the top, with the pourer extending above this rim. Decorated in an ivory ground upon which there are bright yellow chrysanthemums edged in gilt highlights. Further gilt and copper coloured glazes decorate the stylised leaf rim, base, upper rim and handle.

Condition: In good condition with no cracks or repairs to the body of the jug. A small crack is evident on the underside of the bridge of the pourer which cannot be seen from above. Decoration is in excellent condition and the gilding is sound except for minimal rubbing on the handle.
