Royal Worcester Vesta Holder/ Stand

An uncommon Royal Worcester vesta or match holder. Designed to hold vesta matches in the upright holder fixed to an oval dish. The uneven surfaces on two sides of this holder being the surfaces upon which you could strike your match. Decorated in a blush ivory palette, with handpainted flowers and gilt highlights.
Dated 1905.

Condition: In excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. Decoration is in excellent condition and the gilding shows only minimal signs of rubbing.
